Therefore, we developed a PA intervention that can be implemented without additional spatial resources or changes in school curricula. In the intervention group, children received a daily PA unit consisting of physical education lessons and simultaneous academic content over a 9-month period. The control group received conventional (physical education) classes. Body weight, height, waist circumference and health-related fitness parameters were measured. Of 412 children (9.7\u2009\u00b1\u20090.5\u2009years) included, 228 participated in the intervention group. In regression analysis adjusted for baseline, gender, school location, sports club membership (total only) with standardized outcome variables, the intervention group showed a reduction in waist-to-height ratio (B\u2009=\u20090.30, p\u2009&lt;\u20090.001) and an increase in several fitness parameters (cardiorespiratory endurance: B\u2009=\u20090.20, p\u2009=\u20090.037; lower body muscle strength: B\u2009=\u20090.11, p\u2009=\u20090.041; lower body muscle endurance: B\u2009=\u20090.12, p\u2009=\u20090.027; flexibility: B\u2009=\u20090.19, p\u2009=\u20090.019) compared to the control group. Intervention effects for cardiorespiratory endurance and flexibility were more pronounced in the group of children without sports club membership. Thus, especially children with no sport club membership seem to benefit from daily PA in school (Trial registration: DRKS00025515).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zusammenfassung:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein immer wieder genanntes Argument gegen die Implementierung einer fl\u00e4chendeckenden t\u00e4glichen Bewegungseinheit (PA) an Volksschulen ist der Mangel an r\u00e4umlichen und personellen Ressourcen. Daher haben wir eine PA-Intervention entwickelt, die ohne zus\u00e4tzliche r\u00e4umliche Ressourcen oder \u00c4nderungen in den Schullehrpl\u00e4nen umgesetzt werden kann. In der Interventionsgruppe erhielten die Kinder \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von 9 Monaten eine t\u00e4gliche PA-Einheit bestehend aus Sportunterricht und gleichzeitigen akademischen Inhalten. Die Kontrollgruppe erhielt konventionellen (Sport-)Unterricht. Gemessen wurden K\u00f6rpergewicht, K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe, Taillenumfang und gesundheitsbezogene Fitnessparameter. Von den 412 eingeschlossenen Kindern (9,7\u2009\u00b1\u20090,5\u2009Jahre) nahmen 228 an der Interventionsgruppe teil. In einer Regressionsanalyse, angepasst an Ausgangswert, Geschlecht, Schulstandort, Sportvereinsmitgliedschaft (nur insgesamt) mit standardisierten Ergebnisvariablen, zeigte die Interventionsgruppe eine Verringerung des Verh\u00e4ltnisses von Taille zu K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe (B\u2009=\u20090,30, p\u2009&lt;\u20090,001) und einen Anstieg von mehrere Fitnessparameter (kardiorespiratorische Ausdauer: B\u2009=\u20090,20, p\u2009=\u20090,037; Kraft der Unterk\u00f6rpermuskulatur: B\u2009=\u20090,11, p\u2009=\u20090,041; Ausdauer der Unterk\u00f6rpermuskulatur: B\u2009=\u20090,12, p\u2009=\u20090,027; Flexibilit\u00e4t: B\u2009=\u20090,19, p\u2009=\u20090,019 ) im Vergleich zur Kontrollgruppe. Interventionseffekte f\u00fcr die kardiorespiratorische Ausdauer und Flexibilit\u00e4t waren in der Gruppe der Kinder ohne Sportvereinsmitgliedschaft st\u00e4rker ausgepr\u00e4gt.
