Therefore, the aim was to develop an innovative PA intervention that can be implemented, without additional spatial and human resource requirements. The effects of this intervention on anthropometrics and health-related fitness of primary school children were investigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p-3\"><strong>Methods<\/strong> In twelve primary schools, 24 classes were randomly allocated to an intervention and control group. In the intervention group, children received mix physical education lessons, cognitive content using movement, and additional opportunities for extracurricular physical activities (home exercises) over a 9-month period. In the control group, children received the usual physical education classes. At baseline (Sept 2021) and at follow-up immediately after the intervention (June 2022), body weight, height, waist circumference and fitness parameters (cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, flexibility) were measured. Intervention effects were assessed using multilevel regression models, adjusted for gender, urban\/rural school, sports club membership, and for baseline values of the outcome parameter. Interactions between intervention and being a member of a sports club were assessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p-4\"><strong>Results<\/strong> Of 485 invited children, 412 (85%) were included in the analyses; 228 in the intervention and 184 in the control group. Children were 9.7 (SD 0.5) years old at baseline. In the total intervention group, a reduction in waist-to-height ratio and increase in all fitness parameters were found compared to the control group. Interactions with being a member of a sports club were found, and intervention effects were more pronounced in the group of children who were not a member of a sports club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p-5\"><strong>Conclusions<\/strong> Our daily physical activity intervention for primary schools showed positive effects on important health related parameters, especially for children who were not in a sports club and had most of their PA at school. Wider implementation of this intervention in primary schools is warranted, which should be feasible, since we made sure that no extra resources are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p-6\"><strong>Trial Intervention zur t\u00e4glichen k\u00f6rperlichen Aktivit\u00e4t (PA) an Grundschulen ist der Mangel an r\u00e4umlichen und personellen Ressourcen.&nbsp;Ziel war es daher, eine innovative PA-Intervention zu entwickeln, die ohne zus\u00e4tzlichen r\u00e4umlichen und personellen Aufwand umsetzbar ist.&nbsp;Die Auswirkungen dieser Intervention auf die Anthropometrie und die gesundheitsbezogene Fitness von Grundschulkindern wurden untersucht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Methoden<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In zw\u00f6lf Grundschulen wurden 24 Klassen randomisiert einer Interventions- und Kontrollgruppe zugeteilt.&nbsp;In der Interventionsgruppe erhielten die Kinder \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von 9 Monaten eine Mischung aus Sportunterricht, kognitiven Inhalten mit Bewegung und zus\u00e4tzlichen M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr au\u00dferschulische k\u00f6rperliche Aktivit\u00e4ten (Heim\u00fcbungen).&nbsp;In der Kontrollgruppe erhielten die Kinder den \u00fcblichen Sportunterricht.&nbsp;Zu Beginn (September 2021) und bei der Nachuntersuchung unmittelbar nach dem Eingriff (Juni 2022) wurden K\u00f6rpergewicht, K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe, Taillenumfang und Fitnessparameter (kardiorespiratorische Fitness, Muskelkraft, Flexibilit\u00e4t) gemessen.&nbsp;Interventionseffekte wurden unter Verwendung von mehrstufigen Regressionsmodellen bewertet, adjustiert f\u00fcr Geschlecht, st\u00e4dtische\/l\u00e4ndliche Schule, Sportvereinsmitgliedschaft und f\u00fcr Ausgangswerte des Ergebnisparameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ergebnisse&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Von 485 eingeladenen Kindern wurden 412 (85 %) in die Analysen eingeschlossen;&nbsp;228 in der Interventions- und 184 in der Kontrollgruppe.&nbsp;Die Kinder waren zu Studienbeginn 9,7 (SD 0,5) Jahre gesundheitsbezogene Parameter, insbesondere f\u00fcr Kinder, die nicht in einem Sportverein waren und den gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil ihrer PA in der Schule hatten.&nbsp;Eine breitere Umsetzung dieser
